QHSC is a global, innovative, and adaptive non-profit / NGO. Team QHSC is energized by its global volunteers and loving gift givers.

Dr. Harrieth Gabone founded QHSC after experiencing several tragic childhood experiences in her native home of Tanzania. Her intent is to empower patients and healthcare professionals so they can lead a safe life, gaining full advantage of the healthcare services available to them. Much of Dr. Gabone’s initial support came from friends, and family members. As a professor and nurse educator she is also supported by college students, educators, and healthcare professionals, globally, especially in the U.S. and Tanzania.

What team QHSC members have in common is a passion to serve. Our members give of themselves to help make the lives of others better. It is not uncommon for our global volunteers to feel that their shared experiences, with community members, are joyous life shaping experiences. In other words while serving communities, they have been blessed with key insights and characteristics that are transformational to both the global volunteer / professional and community members.

The phenomena of giving of ones self; professionally, has a dual impact that can be witnessed among our organization’s global volunteers, and the institutions and organizations that we service.

We encourage our team members to share our source of fulfillment through service and gift giving.
